Overview
We are partnering with an innovative product development company seeking a Systems Engineer to help develop the next generation of connected hardware products that combine mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, software, sensors, and real-time analytics.
This is not a traditional manufacturing or mechanical design engineering role.
Instead, you'll serve as the technical integrator across multiple engineering disciplines—helping bring sophisticated electromechanical products from concept through production while solving complex real-world engineering challenges involving motion, sensing, connectivity, and intelligent product design.
If you're energized by robotics, IoT, aerospace, mechatronics, autonomous systems, or connected products, this is an opportunity to work on technology that blends hardware, software, physics, and product innovation into products used every day by customers around the world.
What You'll Be Doing
Product Development & Systems Engineering
- Lead technical execution of new product development initiatives from concept through production
- Serve as the engineering link between mechanical systems, electronics, embedded firmware, software, sensors, and manufacturing
- Help transform innovative product concepts into reliable, scalable commercial products
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs while balancing performance, manufacturability, cost, and customer experience
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership
- Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, operations, manufacturing, and supplier teams
- Coordinate technical execution across multiple engineering disciplines
- Drive project priorities, schedules, and technical decision making throughout product development
Connected Products & Emerging Technology
- Support development of connected hardware products utilizing sensors, wireless communication, embedded electronics, and mobile applications
- Contribute to technologies involving motion tracking, sensor integration, machine learning, and intelligent product experiences
- Help solve complex engineering challenges involving dynamic systems, physics, and real-world product performance
Manufacturing & Product Launch
- Support design-for-manufacturing initiatives and supplier collaboration
- Manage bills of materials and manufacturing readiness activities
- Investigate technical issues and implement practical, data-driven solutions throughout development and production
