Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing technology consulting and solutions organization seeking a Sales Representative focused on the manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for driving new business development by helping manufacturing companies modernize operations, improve efficiency, and optimize enterprise content and knowledge management processes through innovative technology solutions.

This is a highly consultative, hunter-focused sales role ideal for someone who thrives on building new relationships, developing pipeline, and closing complex B2B technology deals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Business Development & Pipeline Growth
  • Prospect and develop new relationships within manufacturing organizations including industrial, aerospace, and process manufacturing environments
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Generate and qualify opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, partner collaboration, and industry engagement
Consultative Sales Execution
  • Lead discovery conversations with executives, operations leaders, IT stakeholders, and supply chain teams
  • Understand customer operational challenges and align technology solutions to business objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including proposals, negotiations, and forecasting
Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration
  • Partner closely with technology alliance and channel partners to drive co-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal consulting, implementation, and delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and provide market feedback to leadership and marketing teams
Industry Engagement & Market Intelligence
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to build relationships and identify opportunities
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within manufacturing

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within technology, SaaS, consulting, or manufacturing-related solutions
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop pipeline, and close new business opportunities
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle in a consultative sales environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred

  • Experience selling into manufacturing organizations
  • Exposure to ERP, enterprise software, supply chain, or operational technology solutions
  • Experience working alongside channel or strategic technology partners
