Americas Sales Manager
Location: United States (Remote with Travel)
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits
Overview
A growing global technology organization is seeking an experienced Americas Sales Manager to lead and execute its commercial strategy across North America and Latin America. This individual will play a critical role in driving regional revenue growth, building and developing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening key customer and partner relationships.
This is a highly visible leadership position with direct alignment to global sales strategy and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales leadership, and a proven ability to scale revenue in complex, multi-channel environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute the Americas sales strategy aligned with global objectives
- Partner with executive leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts, and territory plans
- Analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
- Provide regular reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team
- Establish clear KPIs, accountability, and performance expectations
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent
- Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Implement training initiatives to enhance product knowledge and consultative selling skills
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key distributors, OEM partners, integrators, and strategic accounts
- Support complex sales cycles, contract negotiations, and executive-level discussions
- Drive new business development through networking, outbound efforts, and leveraging existing relationships
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success
Sales Operations & Performance Management
- Manage regional sales budgets, pricing strategies, and incentive programs
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal progression
- Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation, campaigns, and product launches
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams on forecasting and operational alignment
- Deliver reporting and analytics to support revenue growth and profitability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align regional execution with global sales, product, and channel strategies
- Participate in global sales leadership meetings and share regional insights
- Contribute to sales process improvements, reporting frameworks, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong experience in channel sales, including distributors, OEMs, and direct sales models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally
Preferred:
- Experience within Point-of-Sale (POS), retail technology, or related IT/technology sectors
- Strong understanding of evolving market trends and go-to-market strategies
