We are partnering with a highly respected design and development organization seeking an Architectural Technician to support the creation of innovative, high-end commercial environments.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented architectural professional with strong BIM modeling capabilities and a passion for design execution. You’ll play a key role in architectural modeling, construction documentation, prototype development, and presentation materials while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of exciting projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Architectural Modeling & Documentation

  • Support the production of construction documents for commercial development projects
  • Create BIM models, draft architectural drawings, and coordinate documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to support successful project delivery
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across project documentation

Prototype Development & Technical Coordination

  • Assist in developing and maintaining prototype details and drawing standards
  • Support architectural modeling and drafting for multiple active projects
  • Help ensure updated standards and prototypical details are incorporated into assigned work

Presentation & Visualization

  • Create presentation drawings, renderings, and visual exhibits for stakeholders, governing agencies, and project approvals
  • Support entitlement processes, architectural review committees, and internal project presentations
  • Assist with visual communication materials used for project development and decision-making

  • Strong BIM and architectural modeling users
  • Detail-oriented with strong drafting and technical coordination skills
  • Comfortable collaborating across internal teams and external consultants
  • Passionate about design, documentation quality, and continuous learning

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree (2-year) in Architectural Drafting or related field
  • 1+ year of architectural experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of BIM/CAD standards, workflows, and documentation procedures

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
  • Experience supporting commercial construction or commercial design projects
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting architectural modeling and documentation across multiple project types
