Software Sales Specialist - ACA Reporter Software

The leading software company in the compliance and reporting space, is seeking a rainmaker to join its growing sales team. This dynamic role of Software Sales Specialist will be accountable for growing sales across the United States in focused niche markets. This dynamic sales leader will make things happen from Day 1. This role will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth and achieving/exceeding company sales goals. This individual will have documented, proven sales experience that exceeded expectations, strong problem-solving skills, and dynamic people skills. The ideal candidate will be driven by closing deals daily, a hunger for a never-ending flow of new leads, and experience in understanding how to sell Software as a Service. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate how their past success will transfer and how they will thrive in a growing, agile, and fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and command a strong pipeline of leads and be able to successfully convert leads to sales on a consistent basis.
  • Articulately consult and sell to stakeholders in small, mid, and large segment companies.
  • Accurately provide sales forecasts to management based on a data-driven understanding of where prospects are in the sales cycle.
  • Help a prospect understand their overall need for a software solution and deliver that value-based solution.
  • Tailor sales approach throughout the day to account for differences in sales cycles, software capabilities, client profiles, and product differences.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to accomplish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by planning for and scheduling all required sales activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues daily to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.
  • Maintain high standard relationships with internal stakeholders and external channel partners built through trust.
  • Listen and exhibit patience when encountering challenges and problems with complex prospect requirements.
  • Understand root cause analysis and how to utilize internal tools to problem solve and create solutions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Sales success within the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry
  • Selling through referral partners
  • Selling to small to mid-size level organizations
  • Formalized sales training
